Your profile will be more interesting and will increase the likelihood of members contacting you. Imagine if you receive a new match and their profile is empty. Would you be inclined to contact that person?

Please pay close attention to punctuation and spelling. Avoid using CAPS and "textspeak". A profile that is well written can be a strong indication of how serious you are about finding a partner.

Add up to 24 photos to your gallery.

People like photos; it's as simple as that. Make sure that your profile photo is taken in a good light and that you are clearly visible. You are 8 times more likely to be contacted if you have a profile photo.

Initiate contact with your matches.

Your matches will be flattered that you have shown interest. By initiating contact, you will increase the likelihood of getting a reply, even if it's just a smile or profile visit. You will be actively adding yourself to their "Matches" list.

Don't be discouraged if you do not get a response. Some members don't log in every day or may not have subscribed to a Premium membership yet.

Log in to your account on a daily basis and take advantage of all the Premium features. Premium members are recommended as matches more frequently than basic members, and you'll also be able to send and read messages. This will show your matches that you are committed to seeking a relationship.
